Underwater Diving Training for MAKU Students: Youth and Sports Day Enthusiasm Crowned with Diving

The Underwater Sports and Mountaineering Community of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University organized a scuba diving training event for MAKU students on May 18-19. 

The diving event, which took place in the Kaş district of Antalya, continued for 2 days with the participation of academics. The participants received a diving certificate that is internationally valid and allows diving up to 18 meters as a result of the training they successfully completed.

During the event, the students performed a respectful dive to Ata by joyfully celebrating the 19th May Youth and Sports Day by opening the community's banner underwater. The students had the opportunity to take plenty of photos with the enjoyable views and creatures they saw underwater. Diving instructor Osman Altıntaş said, "We thank the university administration and our teachers for providing and supporting such an opportunity."
