The Success of MAKÜ Students in TÜBİTAK is Increasing Exponentially

The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) has deemed 108 projects prepared by students of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) suitable for support in the applications for the "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program" conducted by the Science Human Support Programs Presidency and published by TÜBİTAK.

 

In the applications for the "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program" conducted by the Science Human Support Programs Presidency and published by TÜBİTAK, 108 projects prepared by students of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) were deemed suitable for support by TÜBİTAK. MAKÜ ranked 24th in the project application ranking among all universities.

 

The support results of the applications made within the scope of the 2nd period of 2023 for the "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program", which was created to encourage associate and undergraduate students studying at universities to conduct research through projects, have been announced.

 

Accordingly, a total of 108 projects, including 8 from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, 2 from the Faculty of Sports Sciences, 18 from the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, 11 from the Faculty of Health Sciences, 2 from the Faculty of Theology, 4 from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, 8 from the Faculty of Education, 17 from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, 12 from Bucak Computer and Informatics Faculty, 4 from Bucak Health Vocational School, 5 from Social Sciences Vocational School, 5 from Çavdır Vocational School, 2 from Burdur Health Services Vocational School, 6 from Burdur Food Agriculture and Livestock Vocational School, and one project each from the Faculty of Dentistry, Gölhisar Applied Sciences Vocational School, Bucak Emin Gülmez Technical Sciences Vocational High School and Altınyayla Mehmet Tuğrul Security Services Vocational School, were eligible for support.

 

While 38 projects were accepted in the applications made within the scope of the 2nd period of 2022 for the "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program", 108 projects were accepted in the 2nd period of 2023 with an increase of 184%.
