In the Inter-University Judo Competitions organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation in Edirne, the athletes of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) achieved great success.
Gizem Coşkun, competing in the +78 kg category, won the gold medal as the champion of Turkey. Coşkun also achieved the success of becoming the second in Turkey in the open weight category. Sena Nur Büyük won the silver medal and became the second in Turkey in the 63 kg category, while Fazilet Oygur won the bronze medal and became the third in Turkey in the 52 kg category.
The women's team achieved third place overall in Turkey and succeeded in stepping onto the podium as a team.
