Inter-University Women's Football Turkey Championship was held with great enthusiasm between May 13-17, 2025, hosted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ). In the matches played at MAKÜ İstiklal Stadium, 12 university teams from all over Turkey competed fiercely.
The championship was attended by Istanbul Nişantaşı University, Ege University, Fenerbahçe University, Koç University, Gümüşhane University, Istanbul Rumeli University, Yalova University, Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, Gazi University, Bayburt University, Marmara University, and the host Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.
The excitement of the tournament's final was crowned with the award ceremony held on May 17. Istanbul Nişantaşı University, defeating its opponent in the championship match, lifted the trophy as the winner of the tournament. Marmara University came in second, while Gümüşhane University secured third place.
Medals and trophies were presented to the top teams by MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Rector's Advisor Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Alpaslan, and Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Emrah Atay.
The competition and sportsmanship displayed throughout the tournament once again highlighted the level reached by women's football at the university level.
