At Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), the new academic year started with enthusiasm. The university simultaneously launched both the autumn festivals and the student clubs introduction days for students stepping into the 2025-2026 academic year.
In the events organized at the stands set up in the back area of UNİPARK AVM, students have the opportunity to get to know different clubs closely. Hosting 153 active student clubs, MAKÜ is among the universities in Turkey with the richest diversity of clubs.
During the introduction days, which will continue between October 14-16, club representatives inform new students at the stands they have set up and carry out member registrations. Student music groups also perform their concerts.
Clubs operating in a wide range from science to art, sports to culture, offer students important opportunities not only academically but also in terms of social and personal development. The MAKÜ administration states that these events will contribute to the students' adaptation process to the university and make campus life more vibrant.
