The Sufi Music concert, prepared in collaboration with Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Turkish Music State Conservatory and Manisa Celal Bayar University Faculty of Fine Arts, met with art lovers at the MAKÜ Conference and Exhibition Hall.
Reflecting the spiritual atmosphere of the month of Ramadan, the concert was attended by MAKÜ Rector Hüseyin Dalgar, Justice and Commission President Musa Talih, university administration, and citizens. The whirling dervish performance held as part of the program made the participants in the hall feel the spirit of Ramadan more intensely.
In the concert, popular works of Sufi music such as “Ey Allah’ım Beni Senden Ayırma”, “Alma Tenden Canımı”, “Aşkın ile Âşıklar”, “Medine’ye Varamadım” and “Tevhid Etsin Dilimiz” were performed. The audience embarked on a spiritual journey accompanied by hymns and Sufi works.
The concert received great appreciation from the participants who shared the peace and spirituality of the month of Ramadan.
