2026 DGS Registrations

Dear Student,

Welcome to our university. We congratulate you for choosing our university for your higher education and wish you continued success.

Students who have the right to register at our university according to the 2026 DGS placement results can register electronically with their e-Government passwords or, if they wish, can come to our university to complete their registration in person.

REGISTRATION DATES

- Electronic Registrations: September 14-16, 2026 between e-Government passwords will be used to log in to www.turkiye.gov.tr and registration processes will be carried out from the Higher Education Council Presidency section.

- In-Person Registrations: September 14-18, 2026 students will be able to come to our university and complete their registration in person during these dates.

No documents will be requested from our students who complete their registration via e-Government.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR IN-PERSON REGISTRATION

1. Original of the T.C. Identity card (Must be kept with the candidate.) 
2. Original or certified copy of the diploma obtained from the associate degree institution the candidate graduated from or a newly dated graduation certificate.

IN-PERSON REGISTRATION INFORMATION

1. Candidates must apply in person for registration (excluding electronic registration). Registration by mail is not accepted.
2. Unapproved copies or photocopies of the documents requested for registration are not accepted.
3. If documents are missing, registration will not be completed.
4. Candidates who do not register within the specified dates cannot claim any rights.
5. Higher education institutions may request a health board report from candidates if it is stated in the conditions and explanations of the program. If it is not stated in the conditions and explanations of the program, a health board report cannot be requested.
6. Universities are authorized to take necessary legal actions against candidates who register by making false declarations.

COURSE EXEMPTION-ADAPTATION

The adaptation and exemption processes for the courses that our registered students have taken and passed at their previous higher education institutions will be carried out online.

Our students can apply for these processes by logging into the Student Information System via https://net.mehmetakif.edu.tr/.

COURSE REGISTRATION PROCESSES

Courses at our university will start on September 21, 2026. After the exemption processes, you can participate in the courses after the course registration process.

PREPARATORY CLASS

Candidates registering for programs with a compulsory foreign language (English) preparatory class must follow the announcements on our university's Foreign Languages School Directorate web page regarding the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam and the Foreign Language Exemption Exam at https://ydyo.mehmetakif.edu.tr/.

NON-GRADUATES

Candidates who have gained the right to register for a higher education program but are at the graduation stage of the associate degree program and will take an internship, make-up, or single course exam will also have their temporary registrations made at the specified dates. If these candidates present their documents proving their graduation to the higher education institution by December 31, 2026, their main registrations will be made. Those who do not document their graduation by this date will have their temporary registrations canceled, and candidates who do not register temporarily at the specified dates will not be registered.
