Within the scope of the IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) Program, which provides opportunities for undergraduate students to do technical internships abroad, applications for the 2026-2027 academic year will be accepted between November 2-8, 2026 by the IAESTE Representation of the International Relations Coordination.

Note: All documents related to the application must be sent as a single PDF file. The name of the PDF file should be formatted as the student's first and last name.
Application criteria vary from country to country, and the criteria for Turkey are as follows:
- Being a student in Computer Science, Engineering, Architecture, or Science Faculties/Schools of IAESTE Member Universities,
- Being an undergraduate student
- Being at least a 2nd-year student
- Having a minimum GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00,
- Scoring at least 70 points in the written and oral foreign language exam conducted by the universities,
- The student's student status must continue throughout the period of mobility to benefit from the program.
Scoring Criteria:
%50 Foreign Language Exam Score (must be at least 70 out of 100)
%50 Academic Average (must be at least 2.00 out of 4.00)
Foreign Language Exam:
The IAESTE Foreign Language Proficiency Exam will be conducted by our University’s School of Foreign Languages on November 11, 2026.
To participate in the exam, students must have completed their applications to the IAESTE Program between November 2-8, 2026. Students who do not apply during the specified dates will not be accepted to the exam. The location and time of the exam will be announced on our Coordination's website (https://iro.mehmetakif.edu.tr).
Information Presentation
An online information meeting will be held via the Zoom platform to provide detailed information about the IAESTE Program, clarify questions regarding the application process, and answer our students' questions. All our students are invited to our meeting.
