2026-2027 Academic Year Vertical Transition Exam (DGS) Additional Placement Results Announcement for Students Who Will Register in Our University Programs

The e-registration procedures for students who have gained the right to register through the Vertical Transition Exam (DGS) Additional Placement Result will be conducted via e-Government between November 3-4, 2026. However, students who do not register online will be able to apply for their final registration in person or through a legal representative (guardian)/a person appointed as a proxy via a notary with the required documents between November 3-11, 2026.

Electronic Registration Procedures: 

Successful candidates can perform their registration procedures by logging into the https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/yokuniversite-ekayit address using their e-Government passwords in the Higher Education Council Presidency area. After the registration process is completed, the Electronic Registration Document and Student Document can be obtained from the e-Government system.

Students Who Wish to Register in Person/Face to Face;

1. 2026 DGS Additional Placement Result Document
2. The original of the Associate Degree Diploma obtained from the school graduated from or the graduation document obtained from e-Government
3. A photocopy of the T.C. Identity Card (front and back) to be seen in original
4. 1 photo sized 4.5 cm x 6 cm
5. The original of the guardian or proxy document for candidates who will register through a legal representative (guardian)/a person appointed as a proxy via a notary

Announcement of Exemption and Adaptation Procedures for Students Who Registered in Our University Programs According to the 2026 Vertical Transition Exam (DGS) Additional Placement Result

Dear students who have newly registered under the 2026 Vertical Transition Exam Additional Placement in our university;

You must complete your course exemption and adaptation applications online for the recognition of the courses you have successfully completed at the higher education institutions where you were previously registered.

Application Steps

• You can submit your applications through the Adaptation Application Module available in the Student Information System via MAKÜ-Net.
• Applications made in person or via email will not be processed.
• During the application, it is mandatory to upload your transcript and course contents to the system completely.

Final Application Date: Students must complete their exemption and adaptation applications by 17:00 on November 18, 2026, at the latest. (Article 5, Paragraph 2, Subparagraph (c) of the Exemption and Adaptation Regulation of our University)

Important Note: To complete the application steps without errors and to upload the required documents completely, please make sure to review the Exemption and Adaptation Application Guide attached to our announcement before the process.

On the Application Screen: You need to select the application titled “2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester Adaptation Applications 3rd Applications (for our students who registered newly under YKS Additional, DGS Additional Special Talent Exam or Law No. 7262)” to carry out your transactions.

Students whose registration processes are completed can check their student number and tuition fees at https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/ogrsis/no_query.aspx and can deposit the tuition fee by specifying the student number through any Vakıflar Bankası branches, ATMs, and internet banking across Turkey.

Course Registrations

Students who register face to face at our university can also carry out their course registrations simultaneously. Students who register online via e-Government must apply to the relevant unit for course registrations.
