A protocol was signed between Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and Burdur Employment and Labor Institution Provincial Directorate, aimed at supporting the development of university students and facilitating their adaptation to working life within the scope of the İŞKUR Youth Program.

At the 'Green Transformation on the Road to COP31: Zero Waste, Food and Climate Panel' held at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, topics such as climate change, carbon and water footprint, food security, and sustainable production were discussed. The program aimed to transform the concrete action plans of the youth's solution proposals. The contributions of MAKÜ to the COP31 process and afforestation efforts were also brought to the agenda.

The MAKÜ Activity Portal, which will enable the planning, recording, and sharing of the activities of academic and administrative units at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University through a single system, was introduced at the Senate meeting. The portal is aimed at strengthening the university's institutional memory and contributing to national and international evaluation processes.

The Autumn Semester Student Community Introduction Days organized at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) began with intense participation. In the event featuring 110 student communities, students have the opportunity to get to know communities that match their interests and participate in new activities.

At the Senate of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, the updating of course contents and the simplification of curricula were discussed. It was decided that the studies aimed at allowing students to dedicate more time to extracurricular achievements would be carried out in collaboration with academic units and department heads.

In the needs analysis study organized within the scope of the Village University Project carried out by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), the strengthening of rural development and the improvement of education in agriculture and animal husbandry were addressed. In the meeting attended by public institutions, agricultural chambers, and village muhtars, the needs of producers and the studies to be carried out in the upcoming period were evaluated.
