The Center for Measurement, Selection and Placement (ÖSYM) has announced the placement results of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS-2024). According to the results, 99% of the associate and undergraduate quotas of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) were filled.
For the 2024-2025 academic year, MAKÜ, which was preferred by 4,081 students in the associate degree program and 3,337 students in the undergraduate program, opened its doors to a total of 7,418 new students. Accordingly, while the occupancy rate in associate degree programs was 100%, the occupancy rate in undergraduate programs reached 97.68%. The success of being preferred at MAKÜ, where a total occupancy rate of 99% was reached, is increasing every year.
In addition, for the 2024-2025 academic year, it is aimed to register nearly a thousand foreign students and nearly 1,500 graduate students.
MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar also said, welcoming the students who will join the MAKÜ Family, “A journey that includes more than a university experience with the education approach and practices unique to MAKÜ and supports your personal development awaits you. I wish you all a successful and happy university life”.
The registration procedures of the students placed in MAKÜ will be done electronically between August 19 -21, 2024, and in the programs applied in person between August 19-23, 2024. Education at MAKÜ will start on September 16, 2024.
