Great support for R&D and scientific research from MAKÜ

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar announced that as of 2025, they have made significant changes in the university's R&D processes and notable improvements in the amount of support provided.
In this context, a 100% increase in the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) budget was made, significantly increasing the support given to scientific research.
Record Increase in BAP Support
According to the new BAP support limits set by MAKÜ, the amount of funds allocated to thesis projects has been increased by 100%.
Accordingly;
* Master's Thesis Projects
o Master's: 2024: 30,000 TL → 2025: 60,000 TL
o Livestock Project Supported: 2024: 45,000 TL → 2025: 90,000 TL
o WOS Publication Supported: 2024: 45,000 TL → 2025: 90,000 TL
o Livestock + WOS Publication Supported: 2024: 60,000 TL → 2025: 120,000 TL
o Public/University/Industry Collaboration Project: 2024: 45,000 TL → 2025: 90,000 TL
o Public/University/Industry Collaboration + WOS Publication Supported: 2024: 60,000 TL → 2025: 120,000 TL
* Doctoral Thesis Projects
o Doctorate: 2024: 60,000 TL → 2025: 120,000 TL
o Livestock Project Supported: 2024: 90,000 TL → 2025: 180,000 TL
o WOS Publication Supported: 2024: 90,000 TL → 2025: 180,000 TL
o Livestock + WOS Publication Supported: 2024: 120,000 TL → 2025: 240,000 TL
o Public/University/Industry Collaboration Project: 2024: 90,000 TL → 2025: 180,000 TL
o Public/University/Industry Collaboration + WOS Publication Supported: 2024: 120,000 TL → 2025: 240,000 TL
Student Support Projects (ÖDEP)
ÖDEP 1: These are projects supported to create R&D cultures for students interested in project studies, to encourage them in research activities, and to motivate them for research. The project upper limit is determined by the BAP Commission.
ÖDEP 2: These are projects supported to encourage students who will participate in national/international student project competitions accepted by the BAP Commission. The project upper limit is determined by the BAP Commission.
ÖDEP 3: These are projects supported to encourage student projects that have been entitled to support within the scope of the TÜBİTAK university students research projects support program. Up to 30% of the support amount provided by TÜBİTAK is supported by BAP.
With these increases, MAKÜ aims to produce projects that can compete at national and international levels in the field of R&D and innovation. Our university especially draws attention in the scientific world with TÜBİTAK-supported research and technopark projects.
