PRE-APPLICATION for the 2025 Summer School will be accepted. HOWEVER, MAKING A PRE-APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE COURSES WILL DEFINITELY BE OPENED. Whether the courses for which pre-application is made will be opened or not will be decided by the Summer School Coordination Board in accordance with Article 7 of the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Summer School Directive.
COURSES WITH HOSPITAL AND WORKPLACE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE OPENED IN THE SUMMER SCHOOL.
Detailed information and documents to guide and inform our university students and guest students who want to take courses from our university's summer school are included in the attached files. It will be beneficial for all our students to review the attached files before starting the summer school PRE-APPLICATION procedures.
In our university, all courses of “Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution I – II”, “Turkish Language I -II” and “Foreign Language (English) I – II” will be conducted through distance education, and ALL OTHER COURSES will be conducted through face-to-face education. The MIDTERM EXAM AND FINAL EXAM of the courses “Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution I – II”, “Turkish Language I -II” and “Foreign Language (English) I – II” conducted through distance education will be conducted FACE-TO-FACE. The exam format will be determined by the instructor and announced to the students according to the determined schedule.
A PRE-REGISTRATION QUOTA OF 100 STUDENTS has been set for all courses to be opened in the summer school by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
In the 2025 Summer School, courses common between units;
Courses Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution I-II, Turkish Language I-II, and Foreign Language (English) I-II taught in all academic units will be opened in the Faculty of Education.
Courses taught in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Bucak Faculty of Business Administration, and Bucak Zeliha Tolunay School of Applied Technology and Business Administration will be consolidated in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
Elective formation courses and formation courses taught in the Faculty of Sports Sciences Physical Education and Teaching Program and the Faculty of Theology will be opened in the Faculty of Education.
In Summer School Applications;
MAKÜ students must apply with the application form from the address https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=MAKU to take a course not opened in their registered unit, if it is opened in another unit within the university, without losing their rights, and their application must be accepted by the decision of the unit board of directors they are registered in. MAKÜ students, provided that their courses are not opened in our university's faculty/school/conservatory/vocational schools during the summer school, can apply with the application form from the address https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=DIGER to take courses from the summer school programs of other universities without losing their rights, and their application must be accepted by the decision of the unit board of directors they are registered in. Students registered at other universities;
https://obs.mehmetakif.edu.tr/oibs/summer_app/ create a registration by applying from the address. They can make a PRE-APPLICATION like MAKÜ students in guest student status by logging in with their e-government password from the page https://net.mehmetakif.edu.tr/welcome.
Our university students and guest students must select courses through the Student Information System for PRE-APPLICATION PROCEDURES; then they must deposit the course fee with their student numbers at “Vakıfbank” ATMs or branches and FINALIZE the courses they selected in the PRE-APPLICATION through the Student Information System. In courses with quota application, if it is decided to open the course, MAKÜ students will be registered for the course first. Remaining quota will be filled by registering guest students according to the order of finalization of the PRE-APPLICATION course registration. Course fees deposited in the PRE-APPLICATION by students remaining outside the quota will be refunded.
In the summer school, if course changes are not made for courses that are not opened or left due to conflict, fee refunds will be made to the bank account number (IBAN number) opened in the student's name registered in the Student Information System WITHIN 20 BUSINESS DAYS.
Payments made in the PRE-APPLICATION for courses decided to be opened in the Summer School WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
If students do not have a bank account (IBAN number) opened in their OWN NAME, NO REFUND CAN BE MADE. Therefore, it is of great importance that our students' IBAN numbers are correct and complete to avoid delays in course fee refunds, and necessary updates are made in the Student Information System if there are any issues.
PRE-APPLICATION is strongly announced to all students who will apply.
