MAKÜ Academics in the "World's Most Influential Scientists" list

The "World's Most Influential Scientists 2025" list, which is prepared annually in collaboration with Stanford University and Elsevier and carries great prestige in the scientific world, has been announced. This year, six academicians from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) achieved significant success by being included in the ranking.

In the study where scientists are evaluated according to international criteria; the number of qualified publications, the impact value of the journals in which the articles are published, patents, citation numbers, h-index, and hm-index criteria were taken into consideration. 

The academicians from MAKÜ who made it to the list are:

• Prof. Dr. Gökmen Arslan, Faculty of Education
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mert Gürlek, Faculty of Tourism

This achievement once again highlighted the international level effectiveness of Mehmet Akif Ersoy University's academic staff. The university administration expressed their satisfaction with MAKÜ academicians being included in this distinguished list that guides the scientific world and emphasized that MAKÜ's academic staff and academic production are making further progress day by day.
