Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Career Development Application and Research Center completed the career conferences it started to contribute to students' preparation for employment processes after graduation. The 'A Strong Step to Career Journey with MAKÜ' conferences held in 30 academic units of our university attracted great interest from students.
The conferences were conducted by Career Development Center Director Lecturer Gökhan Turan, Deputy Directors Dr. Lecturer Member Muhammed Masum Gülcemal and Lecturer Alp Yanık, Specialist Clinical Psychologist – Lecturer Dilara Nihal Çarıkçı Özgül and DGS Coordinator – Lecturer Fatih Gündoğdu.
In the programs; the activities carried out by the Career Development Center, national career platforms, internship opportunities, educational supports and the social and professional advantages of being a student at MAKÜ were conveyed to the students.
Additionally, in the sessions held at Vocational Schools, information was provided on DGS, KPSS, and AÖF with the title 'Ways to Progress in Career and Education' regarding the second university processes.
Throughout the presentations, students gained significant insights into career planning and had the opportunity to get to know the opportunities offered by the university more closely.
Career Center Director Lecturer Gökhan Turan stated in his evaluation: “We will continue to guide our students on their career journeys and prepare them for a strong future.”
Participating students expressed that the events were extremely beneficial in guiding their future and thanked the organizing team.
