At Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), the activities and new term plans of the student clubs that will operate in the 2026-2027 fall semester were evaluated.
During the meeting, the events and projects that student clubs plan to implement in the new term were discussed, and evaluations were made regarding the more effective execution of the clubs' working processes. Efforts to ensure students' more active participation in university life in social, cultural, academic, and sports areas were also on the agenda of the meeting.
In the meeting, where the problems faced by student clubs and their needs and demands were also evaluated, an exchange of views was held on strengthening communication and cooperation between the university and the clubs.
Before the new term, information was provided about the process of determining the presidents and management teams of student clubs, and participants were informed about the functioning of the control and approval processes of academic advisors.
The Student Clubs Meeting held at the MAKÜ Avşarhan Youth Office was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy, Head of the Health, Culture and Sports Department Kubilay Çakır, Youth Center Director İsmail Çelik, and student club presidents.
It is aimed that the student clubs operating within MAKÜ will contribute to the social, cultural, and academic life of the university with the activities they will carry out in the new term.
