Rector Dalgar: “Thanks to accreditation, our equivalence in Europe is accepted, which increases the strength of our diplomas”

Speaking at the certificate ceremony, our Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar said: “Today, we have gathered regarding the accreditation of our educational programs, which hold an important place in the management policy of our university. After our 5-year institutional accreditation as a university, we quickly focused on program accreditations. We have taken significant steps in this process in faculties and vocational schools. Especially for vocational schools, the accreditation of programs is of great importance in certifying quality standards and increasing the reputation of these programs.

So far, 3 out of 9 programs applied for have been fully accredited. I thank everyone who contributed to this success. We aim to achieve full accreditation by completing our deficiencies for our other programs. Our new applications are also ongoing; our biggest goal is to have all our programs accredited by the end of this process.

It is clear that accredited programs are more advantageous in terms of being preferred by students. In fact, thanks to accreditation, our equivalence in Europe is accepted, which increases the strength of our diplomas. We think that in the near future, programs that are not accredited will have difficulty finding students. We are in a highly competitive higher education environment, and with these accreditations, I believe we will solidify our place among the universities and programs preferred by students first.

I thank everyone who contributed to this success. I also express my gratitude to Prof. Dr. Remzi Gören, who personally visited our university to present the certificates, for their kind visit” he said.

Prof. Dr. Remzi Gören: “MAKÜ has once again demonstrated that it has successfully achieved quality standards in education”

MEK President Prof. Dr. Remzi Gören stated that MEDEK provides accreditation services to vocational school programs, supporting students to be equipped and competitive individuals in their fields, and said, “The accredited programs of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University have once again demonstrated that they have successfully achieved quality standards in education. I congratulate all the academic and administrative staff who contributed to this process and wish for other programs to continue this success” he said.
