MAKÜ is showcasing the projects it developed at TEKNOFEST 2026

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University is showcasing its innovative projects developed for TEKNOFEST 2026 in Şanlıurfa. At the festival held between September 30 and October 4, MAKÜ, which participates as an academic stakeholder, presents examples of research and development activities conducted within the university to its visitors.

At the MAKÜ stand, technological solutions developed particularly in the fields of agriculture and livestock attract attention, including an autonomous feed-pushing robot, Spirulina production, a cow identification device, and a microscope integrated into a mobile phone.

Products developed in the field of animal health are also being showcased to visitors at the festival. Products such as MAKÜ Hoof Gel, Nonherpes, and Papilend Cream serve as examples of the scientific studies conducted at the university that address the needs of the livestock sector.

Agricultural and livestock technologies are prominent

Within the scope of TEKNOFEST, MAKÜ is also promoting its technology-focused projects in agriculture and livestock through its work within TÜME. The university's academic accumulation in this field, research infrastructure, and developed products are brought together with different sectors through the festival.

In MAKÜ's projects, the development of technology-based solutions to problems encountered particularly in production processes stands out. Studies in various areas, from autonomous systems to animal health products, from microalgae production to imaging and identification technologies, serve as examples of the field applications of academic research.

Students are also part of the technology ecosystem

MAKÜ's TEKNOFEST process is not limited to promotions in the festival area. The university also conducts activities aimed at students' project development, preparation for technology competitions, and transforming their ideas into products.

Through the training and workshops conducted in this context, it is aimed to support students' skills in project preparation, reporting, and technology-focused idea development. The TEKNOFEST activities within the university also pave the way for students to produce projects by combining their academic knowledge and skills with different disciplines.

Scientific studies are being translated into production

The projects exhibited by MAKÜ at the festival also demonstrate the approach of transferring scientific studies conducted at the university into production processes rather than remaining as academic outputs.

Especially in the field of agriculture and livestock, it is aimed to develop solutions that meet the needs of producers, increase collaborations between the university and the sector, and support domestic technology production.

At TEKNOFEST 2026 in Şanlıurfa, where Turkey's technological efforts meet with a wide audience, MAKÜ also participates with its academic knowledge, research capacity, and developed products.

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University continues its efforts in line with the goal of transforming scientific research into technology, technology into production, and production into social contribution.
